One heavyweight fight at Saturday’s KSW 105 features about as much human as possible.
How much human? 601 pounds worth.
Strongmen Mariusz Pudzianowski (17-9) and Eddie Hall (0-0) will square off in a highly-anticipated heavyweight fight PreZero Arena in Gliwice, Poland. Both men hit the scale Friday with Pudzianowski registering at 267 pounds while Hall weighed a staggering 334 pounds.
Hours later, Pudzianowski and Hall came face-to-face one final time before Saturday’s showdown. They remained respectful without antics and let the visual oddity sell the fight itself.
Pudzianowski, 48, is a five-time winner of the World’s Strongest Man competition. He holds various other national, continental, and international titles. Since 2009, he has also competed in combat sports, predominantly for KSW. He currently is on a two-fight skid.
Hall, 37, has more recently entered the combat sports arena. He debuted in an exhibition boxing match against Thor Bjornsson, a.k.a “The Mountain” from Game of Thrones. He lost the bout via unanimous decision. In June 2024, Hall partook in a viral 2-on-1 exhibition MMA fight where he flattened both opponents in an insane sequence.
