The Patriots capped off their 2025 NFL Draft class on Saturday evening with the conclusion of the seventh round.
Over the past three days, Mike Vrabel’s team loaded up on offensive talent around Drake Maye while filling other holes on the roster. They ultimately drafted 11 players in this year’s class.
Of course, the draft is only part of the team-building process.
At the conclusion of the draft, undrafted players started to find their new homes.
Historically, this process has been important to the Patriots franchise and figures to be important for a rebuilding team like this one. Last year, undrafted rookie Dell Pettus made the Patriots 53-man roster out of training camp – and there’s a long history of success.
From David Andrews, Jonathan Jones, Malcolm Butler, and J.C. Jackson, the Patriots have found Pro Bowlers and cornerstone pieces with undrafted free agents.
Here’s a full rundown of all the Patriots 2025 undrafted free agent signings (note – until the team announces it, some of these might be rookie minicamp invites):
Ben Wooldridge, quarterback, Louisiana
The Patriots are adding a third quarterback to the roster. Last season, Wooldridge completed 66% of his passes for 2,453 yards with 17 touchdowns and six interceptions. He earned Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year honors.
Cam Riley, linebacker, Florida State
According to a source, the Patriots are bringing in the 6-foot-5, 237-pound linebacker. Riley finished with 47 tackles, four for loss, with one sack and a pass breakup. He was fourth in tackles for Florida State. He had a season-high 10 tackles against Boston College.
Jack Conley, offensive line, Boston College
According to The Draft Network, the Patriots are adding a local prospect. Conley is a 6-foot-7, 325-pound offensive lineman who’s from New Canaan, Conn. He has versatility, playing right tackle, right guard, and left tackle for Bill O’Brien at Boston College.
Brandon Crossley, cornerback, SMU
According to Aaron Wilson, the Patriots are adding another defensive back. A 5-foot-10 corner, Corssley had eight pass breakups and an interception for SMU last season. He earned All-ACC Honorable Mention honors. Crossley also has kickoff return experience.
Lan Larison, running back, UC Davis
Larison announced on social media that he was signing with the Patriots. He set multiple school records at UC Davis, including for all-purpose yards in a season (2,387). Last year, he ran for 1,465 yards with 17 touchdowns. He also added 62 receptions, 874 yards with six touchdowns. His NFL Network player comparison is Taysom Hill.
DeMeer Blankumsee, receiver, Memphis
According to Jordan Schultz, the Patriots are bringing in the 5-foot-11 receiver. Blankumsee caught 45 passes for 677 yards and six touchdowns last season. He had 53 receptions, 901 yards, and seven touchdowns the year before for Memphis.
Josh Minkins, safety, Cincinnati
According to Ryan Fowler, the Patriots are adding more safety depth. Minkins played at Louisville and Cincinnati during his collegiate career. He had 45 tackles, four pass breakups and two interceptions last season.
Brock Lampe, fullback, Northern Illinois
According to his agency, the Patriots are adding a fullback to their roster. Lampe played both sides of the ball for Northern Illinois at linebacker and fullback. On offense, he ran for 14 yards last season to go with a touchdown. He also caught nine passes for 91 yards and a touchdown.
Cole Birdow, guard, Merrimack
The Patriots are adding another local prospect to the roster. Birdow is a 6-foot-5, 315-pound offensive lineman. He started his career at Old Dominion as a defensive tackle before transferring to Merrimack and moving to guard. Birdow was a participant at the Patriots local Pro Day this offseason.
Efton Chism III, receiver, Eastern Washington
The Patriots are adding a productive slot receiver, according to his agency. Chism caught 120 passes for 1,311 yards and 13 touchdowns last season. He’s 5-foot-10 and weighs 195 pounds. Last season, he broke Cooper Kupp’s FCS record by catching a pass in 53 straight games. He also broke Kupp’s school record for receptions (120). A team captain, he has punt return experience.
Wilfried Pene, defensive tackle, Virginia Tech
Per his school, the Patriots are adding another defensive tackle. Pene made 33 tackles, 5.5 for loss, with 3.5 sacks last season. At 6-foot-3, 285 pounds, he could be moved to defensive end with the Patriots. Pene is from Tours, France.
Gee Scott Jr., tight end, Ohio State
The Patriots are adding more depth to their tight end room. Scott caught 27 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns last year. He caught four passes for 30 yards in Ohio State’s College Football Playoff Semifinal win over Texas.
C.J. Dippre, tight end, Alabama
The Patriots landed one of the best available undrafted free agents with this tight end. Dippre was projected to be drafted in the fifth or sixth round. He’s a great athlete, lining up in line, in the slot and out wide for Alabama. He caught 21 passes for 256 yards last season. He also has special teams experience.
Jeremiah Webb, receiver, South Alabama
Webb announced on social media that he was signing with the Patriots. The 6-foot receiver caught 36 passes for 649 yards and five touchdowns last season. He had a private workout with the Patriots during the pre-draft process.
Jordan Polk, safety, Texas State
Another safety in the fold, Polk was a productive defensive back last season for Texas State. He finished with 69 tackles, two sacks and was fifth in the nation with four forced fumbles. He earned All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention honors.
Elijah Ponder, edge rusher, Cal Poly
Ponder was considered one of the top undrafted free agents on the market and was a projected seventh-round pick. A standout pass rusher for Cal Poly, he had seven sacks and 40 tackles last season. He had 8.5 sacks the year before. He earned First team All-Big Sky honors the last two seasons.
