Notre Dame has two players on Pro Football Focus’ pre-season 2025 All-American team.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, they are running back Jeremiyah Love and cornerback Leonard Moore.

Love rushed for a touchdown in every single game last season for the Fighting Irish, setting a school record. He finished with 1,125 yards, 17 rushing touchdowns, and two receiving touchdowns. He had 6.9 yards per carry. PFF ranked him the second most-valuable running back in the nation last year and his PFF grade was fifth.

Moore had 48 tackles — 34 solo — and two interceptions and two forced fumbles while replacing the injured Benjamin Morrison, who is now in the NFL. PFF ranked Moore the third-best cornerback in college football.

Both players were key to Notre Dame’s run to the National Championship game, and both will be counted on to help the Irish return to that game — and perhaps win it this time.
