Heading into Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions are in the position of not having any picks for quite some time. After trades to land Georgia OG Tate Ratledge and Arkansas WR Isaac TeSlaa on Friday night, the Lions won’t pick until the sixth round, No. 182 overall. That is the first of five picks clustered between the middle of the sixth and seventh rounds, culminating with No. 244 overall.

Whether the Lions keep all those picks is certainly up for grabs, but if they do, here are prospects who project in that general range that GM Brad Holmes and his staff should consider, with a focus on the (perceived) biggest remaining needs:

Elijah Roberts, DL, SMU

Jah Joyner, EDGE, Minnesota

Tyler Baron, EDGE, Miami FL

Antwaun Powell-Ryland, EDGE, Virginia Tech

Ahmed Hassanein, EDGE, Boise State

Elijah Ponder, EDGE, Cal-Poly

Howard Cross III, DT, Notre Dame

Seth McLaughlin, C, Ohio State

Addison West, IOL, Western Michigan

Jalen Rivers, OL, Miami FL

Marcus Sigle, S, Kansas State

Jaylen Reed, S, Penn State

Kitan Crawford, S, Nevada

Dean Clark, S, Fresno State

Rayuan Lane, S, Navy

Dan Jackson, S, Georgia

Jaylin Lane, WR, Virginia Tech

Zah Frazier, CB, UTSA

Shaun Dolac, LB, Buffalo

Jackson Woodward, LB, UNLV

Moliki Matavao, TE, UCLA

C.J. Dippre, TE, Alabama

Ben Yurosek, TE, Georgia

Too many RBs to list, if the Lions want to add to that room
