With the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the U.S., Canada and Mexico set to kick off next summer, the first sets of tickets — geared to luxurious hospitality packages — went on sale on Tuesday..

And, well, only FIFA could make the Eras Tour look like a bargain.

In conjunction with FIFA’s hospitality partner, OnLocation, hospitality packages were released to the public with prices starting at $5,300 per person and ranging to nearly $73,000 each. While these seats include amenities like inclusive food, beverage and lounge experiences, the price tag spoke to the audience FIFA is catering to with a U.S.-based World Cup.

Hint: It isn’t the regular fan.

Hospitality packages that FIFA is offering.

These packages also don’t include matches for the USMNT, Mexico and Canada. So, those tickets will almost certainly be even more expensive.

In an interview with The Athletic, OnLocation’s Alicia Falken defended the pricing model given the luxurious experience:

“They are much more than just tickets, there are elevated experiences, immersive ways for fans to take in the experiences and take in a tournament. We are preparing curated culinary offerings, local flavors, highlighting traditions of the host cities and embracing the vibrant experience of the World Cup.”

Still, fans justifiably had sticker shock at ticket costs that deliberately priced out the average person.
