Both Ewers and Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders were expected to go relatively early, with Sanders pegged as a first-round pick by many analysts and Ewers seen as a second- or third-rounder.
Instead, both Sanders and Ewers will be forced to tune back in for the third and final day of the NFL draft to learn where they will land for 2025.
