The 2025 NFL Draft is just around the corner — and the Pittsburgh Steelers kicked off the festivities early with a pre-draft press conference.
Before Steelers GM Omar Khan and HC Mike Tomlin fielded any questions, Khan made it clear that Pittsburgh probably won’t move up in the 2025 NFL Draft:
“[We’re] excited about this week. There are a lot of good players — players that can help us. We have six picks. I don’t know how realistic it is that we move up — but you never know. I think staying put or moving back is a bigger option for us.”
It’s a growing draft-day sentiment that many NFL organizations are beginning to make known — that the level of talent in Day 2 and Day 3 of the draft makes trading back far more valuable than in recent years.
Find out if the Pittsburgh Steelers will trade back from pick No. 21 in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft — which officially begins on Thursday, April 24 at 7:00 PM EST.
