The Pittsburgh Steelers trade of wide receiver George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys was quite a way to wake up on a Wednesday morning. After Pickens wasn’t traded before or during the 2025 NFL draft, we just assumed he was going to play out his rookie contract with Pittsburgh and then hit free agency.
But lo and behold, Pickens is on the move for a third-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft and fans on both sides have plenty to say on social media. Most Cowboys fans seem to be excited about the notion of getting Pickens as a one-year rental and Steelers fans are divided as to whether or not Pittsburgh got fair compensation for the trade.
