After drafting quarterback Jalen Milroe on Friday night, the Seattle Seahawks selected another Alabama Crimson Tide player Saturday afternoon in tight end Robbie Ouzts.
One-of-two Alabama tight ends available in this draft, Ouzts was selected by Seattle in the fifth round, coming off the board at pick No. 175 overall.
With this selection, Ouzts became the sixth Alabama player selected in the 2025 NFL draft, as well as the first in the fifth round, and joins a Seattle team where he is likely expected to see time at fullback.
Here are some reactions to Ouzts’ NFL draft selection by the Seahawks on social media Saturday afternoon.

Robbie Ouzts will be converted to a full back in Seattle. Great short shuttle (4.45) for his size speaks to surprising agility. Bit surprised he went this early but clearly they’ve got a role in mind for him #Seahawks

#Seahawks take Robbie Ouzts
Alabama was super creative with Robbie, listed as a tight end but used in all sorts of way. A fun weapon for Klint Kubiak to get creative with

With pick No. 175, the Seahawks take Alabama’s Robbie Ouzts. They’re calling him a fullback, not a tight end. He’s 6-3, 274.
Ouzts gives Seattle another option to play FB along with Brady Russell, who’s moving there from TE.
