The Golden State Warriors will face off against the Houston Rockets at the Chase Center on Monday night in Game 4 of their first round series looking to take a commanding lead.
Of course, the Warriors were able to take a 2-1 advantage in the series with their victory in Game 3 on Saturday behind another incredible performance out of superstar point guard Stephen Curry.
Golden State was also able to pick up the win in Game 3 without their star forward Jimmy Butler, who was sidelined due to a pelvic and glute contusion.
Butler’s injury is the headliner heading into Game 4 on Monday night but he is expected to play despite being listed as questionable, but that could change as the Warriors have yet to officially announce it.

While the Warriors wait to see whether they will have Butler in their lineup on Monday, the Rockets were dealt an unfortunate blow ahead of Game 4.
Ahead of Monday’s game, Houston added Steven Adams to their injury report as they have listed him as questionable due to an illness.

This is terrible news for the Rockets as Adams has been able to feast on the glass in the series thus far as he has been a rebounding machine.
In the series, the 31-year-old center is averaging 5.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game while shooting 83.3% from the field.
Of course, Adams has taken advantage of the Warriors’ lack of size in their frontcourt by averaging 7.0 rebounds per contest to go along with 3.3 offensive boards per game.
If Adams is sidelined on Monday, expect Alperen Sengun to take on an even larger role at the center position and Jock Landale could be in for a larger role off the bench as he is expected to make his 2025 playoff debut after missing the first three games due to a knee injury.
Fans can catch Monday’s Game 4 matchup between the Rockets and Warriors at 10:00 p.m. EST on TNT.
