The Denver Broncos exited the 2025 NFL draft with seven new players. None of those draft picks have officially signed their contracts yet (at least not that we’re aware of), but we already have a rough idea of what the deals will be worth.
Thanks to the collective bargaining agreement between players and team owners, the pay rate for each pick in the NFL draft is essentially set. Spotrac.com has the total contract values for each pick number on their website.
The Broncos picked at Nos. 20, 60, 74, 101, 134, 216 and 241 this year. The total value of the contracts for those pick selections are $18,048,198, $7,354,592, $6,577,432, $6,158,328, $5,052,663, $4,373,959 and $4,309,292. Here’s a look at how that stacks up with the players picked:
- Round 1: CB Jahdae Barron: $18,048,198
- Round 2: RB RJ Harvey: $7,354,592
- Round 3: WR Pat Bryant: $6,577,432
- Round 3: DE Sai’vion Jones: $6,158,328
- Round 4: OLB Que Robinson: $5,052,663
- Round 6: P Jeremy Crawshaw: $4,373,959
- Round 7: TE Caleb Lohner: $4,309,292
Note that those are the total values of their contracts. Their Year 1 salaries — and cap hits — will be much lower. Because only the top 51 contracts count against a team’s salary cap during the offseason, Spotrac estimates that only Barron ($3,281,490) fully counts against the cap in 2025. The net top 51 cap hit for the team’s draft pool is expected to be about $4,698,260, according to Spotrac.
Barron and the rest of the team’s draft class will report for rookie minicamp later this week.
