The Oregon Ducks football team has already had a successful 2025 NFL draft, with both defensive tackle Derrick Harmon and offensive lineman Josh Conerly, Jr. going in the first round, but they are far from done.
Oregon is expected to have a record number of players drafted this weekend, with the first round likely to begin on Thursday night and the second and third rounds taking place on Friday night. While ESPN projects defensive end Jordan Burch to go off the board to the Green Bay Packers in the second round, another mock draft is predicting quite the reunion for Ducks‘ TE Terrance Ferguson.
According to USA TODAY’s Broncos Wire, Ferguson would be a perfect fit for the Denver Broncos in the third round on Friday night. Should they take Ferguson, it would pair him up with former QB Bo Nix, former WR Troy Franklin, and former C Alex Forsyth.
The Broncos went with a defensive player in the first round on Thursday, selecting Texas Longhorns cornerback Jahdae Barron with the No. 20 pick in the draft. Broncos Wire also projects that Denver will take Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson with their second-round pick on Friday.
Should Ferguson end up with Denver in the third round, it would be a lot of fun to see the reaction from him and the former Ducks that he would be joining in the Mile High City. It would also further cement the fact that the Broncos have officially taken over as the favorite NFL team for many Oregon Duck fans going forward.
