Michigan State defensive lineman Maverick Hansen has received an invite to minicamp from a NFL team.
Shortly after the 2025 NFL Draft ended on Saturday, it was reported and later announced by the Spartans that Hansen has received an invite to the Indianapolis Colts minicamp. Hansen was one of many Spartans to receive interest or deals from NFL teams as undrafted free agents.
Hansen starred for the Spartans as a defensive lineman, but the Detroit Free Press recently reported Hansen will flip to the other side of the ball and play offensive line.
Hansen is originally from Farmington Hills, Mich. and played all of his college ball at Michigan State. Across six seasons, Hansen appeared in 57 games, recording 104 tackles (11 for loss), 5.5 sacks, 3 passes defended and 2 fumble recoveries. Hansen was also a five-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and four-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.
