The Denver Broncos have made heavy investments on the defensive side of the ball this offseason and that was highlighted once again during the 2025 NFL Draft when they took Texas cornerback Jahdae Barron with the 20th overall selection as their next stud defensive back.
Outside of Travis Hunter, Barron was seen as the top available corner in the class and for good reason. With stand out speed, instincts, and the ability to make a play on the football, Barron helped transform the Longhorn defense and elevate the secondary play. Now landing with Denver, Barron fits perfectly as the corner to play opposite of All-Pro corner Patrick Surtain II and should help Denver have one of if not the best defense in the NFL going into the 2025 season.
