Tom Izzo has begun to fill some of the holes on Michigan State basketball’s roster for next season.

The Spartans landed a pledge from Florida Atlantic transfer Kaleb Glenn on Thursday, according to multiple reports. Glenn, who began his college career at Louisville in 2023-24, has two years of eligibility remaining.

The addition of the 6-foot-7, 220-pound wing would bring Izzo’s roster for next season to nine players. Jase Richardson declared for the NBA draft on Tuesday, and MSU had three others enter the transfer portal in Xavier Booker, Tre Holloman (undecided) and Gehrig Normand (undecided). The Spartans also lose Jaden Akins, Frankie Fidler and Szymon Zapala to graduation.

Glenn earned second-team all-league honors in the American Athletic Conference, averaging 12.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in 25.8 minutes while coming off the bench for 29 of his 34 games with the Owls. He also shot 41% from 3-point range on 117 attempts, bringing much-needed perimeter scoring and length to Izzo’s program.

The Spartans beat Glenn and FAU on Dec. 21, 86-69, at Breslin Center in East Lansing. Glenn scored just six points on 2-for-9 shooting with four rebounds and missed all five of his 3-point attempts.

Glenn, an AAU teammate of MSU point guard Jeremy Fears Jr. with Indy Heat, was rated the No. 73 player overall in the 2023 class according to 247Sports.com’s composite rankings. He spent his senior year of high school at La Lumiere School in La Porte, Indiana, the school from which Izzo landed Jaren Jackson Jr.
