Former New Orleans Saints fullback Adam Prentice visited the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday. Another former Saint potentially being added to Klint Kubiak’s offense.
Prentice spent his first four seasons in New Orleans after being added as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina. Mostly utilized primarily as a blocker, Prentice helped pave the way for Alvin Kamara and co. in the teams most productive rushing season since 2020. Offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak was at the head of this attack implementing a heavy-zone running scheme in which the entirety of the offense benefitted from.
Prentice, if signed, would be the third Saint from the 2024 roster to end up with Seattle. Receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling and cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles were brought on to the team earlier this offseason. It was also mentioned by recently re-signed tight end Juwan Johnson that the Seahawks were also one of the teams that were interested in signing him.
As we’ve seen with Sean Payton and his Denver Broncos over the last couple years, it comes to no surprise seeing Saints players get plucked by former staff members.
