The Houston Texans watched as Stefon Diggs left in free agency and their young stud receiver in Tank Dell is dealing with a knee injury so it became apparent the team needed to add another receiver to their room. With the 34th pick of the 2025 NFL Draft the Texans did just that by landing Iowa State receiver Jayden Higgins to help stack more talent at the position.

A big and strong receiver with plenty of explosion in a similar mold to Nico Collins, Higgins creates the perfect mirror on the opposite side of the boundary to give opposing defenses down the field. With plenty of speed to get into the deep secondary and fantastic ball skills to make 50/50 catches go his way, Higgins is going to make the Houston offense difficult to contain. Higgins adds to what is already a solid young receiving core that looks to win the AFC South once again.
