The Denver Broncos used their second pick on day two of the NFL draft to select Illinois wide receiver Pat Bryant.
Bryant had some big years as a member of the Fighting Illini, catching catching 137 passes for 2,095 yards and 19 touchdowns. Bryant was known for his ability to be a force after the catch, averaging 18.3 yards per catch in his final year at Illinois.
Bryant led Illinois in receiving yards in 2024, tying a school record for touchdown catches in a season (10).
Bryant adds another weapon to head coach Sean Payton’s offense, and another dimension to a developing passing attack led by Broncos quarterback Bo Nix.
