The latest player to visit is someone the team could plug into its dominant defensive front. Darius Alexander of Toledo, who comes out of the MAC, is set to visit the Bucs before the NFL Draft.
According to our final rankings, Alexander is one of the top ten defensive linemen in the 2025 NFL Draft. He has never stuffed a box score, but he constantly applied pressure to the quarterback while also being a dominant run defender by getting into the backfield to disrupt plays.
If the Bucs were to move Calijah Kancey outside to the edge position, as some have suggested, Alexander would be able to fill his role on the defensive front. The production may not be the same, but if given time to develop, Alexander could be a fun player for Bucs fans to watch.
