The Milwaukee Bucks were defeated in Game 4 against the Indiana Pacers, losing 129-103. The Bucks came into the game trailing 2-1 after getting a win in Game 3, and the hope was that they could continue the good vibes as they had another game at home. Those good vibes did not continue, and similar to how the first two games went, the Pacers blitzed the Bucks, and they didn’t have an answer.

To make things worse for the Bucks, Damian Lillard suffered an apparent leg injury early in the game and had to be helped to the locker room. He didn’t return, and early reports say that it’s feared Lillard suffered an Achilles injury.

After the game, head coach Doc Rivers shared his thoughts on Lillard’s injury.

“Just being honest, it’s not very promising,” Rivers said. I knew it right away. I felt bad for him. The guy tried to come back for his team.

“This is a tough one. Blood clot, followed by this. It’s just tough.”

It has been a rough couple of months for Lillard, as he missed a lot of time because of blood clots in his right calf. He was able to return in Game 2 of the playoffs, but now he’ll be sidelined once again, and this time it looks like for a while.

If Lillard ruptured his Achilles, it’s hard to see him being prepared to start next season, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he missed all of next season as he recovers. The Bucks will now have to try and get out of a 3-1 deficit in this series against the Pacers.
