The NBA has officially released the schedule (times and broadcasters are still to be announced) for the Boston Celtics 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals second round series now that the Celtics have bested the Orlando Magic in five games to advance from the first round on Tuesday (April 29) night.
The Celtics’ East semis, which could be against either the Detroit Pistons or New York Knicks pending the winner of that Eastern Conference first round series, will kick off on Monday, May 5, giving the Celtics nearly a week off to rest up for the next round. Star forward Jaylen Brown, for his part, will be one of Boston’s biggest beneficiaries with the Georgia native one of two Celtics still appearing on the injury report in the last game against the Magic. But perhaps even more so will be vet guard Jrue Holiday, who has been sitting out since Game 2 against Orlando on April 23, giving the UCLA alum nearly two weeks off before the next series begins.
Let’s take a look at the Celtics’ schedule for the East Semis below.
Game 1 – Monday, May 5
Game 2 – Wednesday, May 7
Game 3 – Saturday, May 10
Game 4 – Monday, May 12
Game 5 (if necessary) – Wednesday, May 14
Game 6 (if necessary) – Friday, May 16
Game 7 (if necessary) – Monday, May 19
