Receiver Elijah Moore was a free agent looking for his next team this offseason, and with some showing interest, when the Buffalo Bills called, he knew it was the spot for him.

Having dealt with constant quarterback changes in his first four years in the league with the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns, stability was key for Moore when choosing his next team.

And that choice was made a little easier when the team you’re coming to has MVP winner Josh Allen.

“I mean, MVP of the league, it’s just not hard to love what you see,” Moore said. “Playoffs every single year, and if I could be a part of something special like that, why not run towards it? I just love to add to a room, a team, organization that I feel I would fit best in.

“I understand that the team is winning with or without any additional players, so just coming in, being a positive aspect, motivate and maybe dig deeper in the receiving room as far as what I can bring to the table. So it was just an easy decision to make once it was all thought out.”

However, Moore will have to fight for his snaps with Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Curtis Samuel, Josh Palmer, Dalton Kincaid, and Dawson Knox already part of the rotation.

But with an “everybody eats” mantra under Joe Brady, Moore will get his chances, however limited they may be, and it is up to him to take advantage of them.

It starts with a strong training camp as he will need to develop chemistry with Allen and the rest of his teammates, and if he can do that, Elijah will likely be part of an offense that once again makes the playoffs, with the intention of winning the Super Bowl.

And that is why it was an “easy decision” for Moore to sign with the Bills.
