More news around Cincinnati Bengals pre-draft work continues to trickle out into the public.
Not that it should come as any surprise, but the Bengals continue to show interest in offensive linemen before the draft.
The latest example comes from Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda, who reports the Bengals have met with Nebraska interior lineman Ben Scott: “Scott, a two-year starter at center and a lineman I’ve liked since his days at Arizona State, will attend the Cardinals local pro day and has had meetings with the Bengals and Tampa Bay Bucs.”

It’s just another little nod toward the draft plan for the Bengals as they head toward the big event. Interior offensive line seems to be the play, which isn’t a great shock after the team re-signed Cody Ford and brought on outsider Lucas Patrick as its two big moves to address the problem area.
While Scott won’t be an early-round pick, doing sweeping due diligence like this could go a long way toward fixing the depth problem in front of Joe Burrow, too.
