Apr. 19—BEMIDJI — Things didn’t go the way of the Bemidji State baseball team on Friday in a doubleheader sweep against Northern State.
But the sun rose again on Saturday.
The Beavers (5-32, 4-26 NSIC) handled the Wolves (10-27, 6-24 NSIC) 10-2 in the series finale at the BSU baseball field.
Hunter Hyden and Aidrian Falcon had RBI doubles in the third inning. Dylan Hedley followed with a single to put Bemidji State ahead 3-0.
In the bottom of the seventh, Hyden drove in another run with a single, as did Falcon. BSU piled on four more runs before Falcon homered in the eighth to go ahead 10-2.
Brandon Lind pitched seven innings, allowing two hits and three walks with five strikeouts. He didn’t allow a run.
