The Buffalo Bills added to their defensive line by selecting Arkansas defensive end Landon Jackson with the 72nd overall pick in the NFL draft. Jackson is the third defensive player that Buffalo selected over the first two days of the event.

Jackson is a high-energy, powerful defensive end who has the potential to make an impact early this season.

Jackson was a two-time captain for the Razorbacks. He played in 42 games for Arkansas while starting in 31 of those games. He concluded his collegiate career with 116 total tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss, and 16 sacks.

During his junior and senior seasons, Jackson led Arkansas in sacks and tackles for loss. He was named a first-team All-SEC player in 2023. Last season, Jackson earned second-team All-SEC honors.

Jackson has time to grow into his role with Buffalo. As of now, Jackson will slot behind Greg Rousseau, AJ Epenesa, Joey Bosa, and Michael Hoecht on the depth chart. However, teams cannot have enough players who can be disruptive against the pass, and Jackson fits the bill.

Here is some of what Jackson has to offer for Buffalo:
