The Arizona Cardinals, following the 2025 NFL draft, signed six rookie free agents who went undrafted. They round out the 90-man offseason roster and, at the end of this week, will get their first NFL experience with rookie minicamp.

Before that takes place, we will go over each player, their traits and college career, so you know more about them.

We start with offensive lineman Jeremiah Byers.

OL Jeremiah Byers’ college career

Byers played five college seasons, beginning at UTEP for three seasons, followed by two at Florida State.

He started 30 games out of 33 played at UTEP as a right tackle. He was All-Conference USA in 2022, his final year there.

He transferred to Florida State and appeared in 23 games, starting 22 at right tackle. Last season, he missed three games with a knee injury. He earned the Bobby Bowden Leadership award last year.

He was ranked the No.

OL Jeremiah Byers’ physical traits

He is 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds. He was not invited to the NFL combine but did athletic testing at his pro day.

He has long 34-inch arms.

He ran the 40 in 5.22 seconds. His short shuttle was 4.83 seconds and his three-cone was 7.93 seconds. he posted an 8-foot-7 broad jump and 29.5-inch vertical leap.

He is below average athletically and just beats bare-minimum athletic benchmarks like barely beating an eight-second three-cone.

Jeremiah Byers’ 2024 blocking metrics

PFF gave Byers an overall 66.4 grade. He received a 73.3 pass-blocking grade and 63.8 run blocking grade.

He was credited with allowing two sacks, three quarterback hits and 20 total pressures in 2024. H was flagged for eight penalties.
