The Boston Celtics will take on the New York Knicks in Game 1 of Round 2 on Monday after finishing off the Orlando Magic in five games. The Celtics were able to finish off the Magic despite dealing with numerous injury issues.
Due to the fact that they were able to get things done quickly in Round 1, the Celtics have had time to heal up in preparation for the Knicks.
Boston announced on Sunday that it had a clean injury report for Game 1. That means Jrue Holiday, Jaylen Brown, and Jayson Tatum are all ready to go for Round 2. Holiday, especially, will be needed in this series against Knicks star Jalen Brunson so it’s a good sign that he is all set to go after only playing in two of those games against Orlando.
