One of Kalen DeBoer’s first tasks as the Alabama Crimson Tide’s new head coach last year was recruiting five-star wide receiver Ryan Williams, who had decommitted from the program. DeBoer succeeded, and Williams is now the face of the Tide’s offense heading into the 2025 season.
Although Alabama didn’t bring in any five-star wideouts in the 2025 recruiting class, DeBoer still brought in a pair of four-stars with Derek Meadows and Lotzeir Brooks slated to compete for snaps this fall.
In the 2026 recruiting class, the Crimson Tide is predicted to land five-star pass catcher Cederian Morgan, but that might not be all.
On Wednesday, four-star wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt announced his top five with Alabama listed along with Texas, Oregon, Ohio State, and USC.
The No. 59 player in the country and No. 6 wide receiver, according to 247Sports, also announced that he would be committing on May 4 on the 247Sports YouTube channel.
The 6-foot-2 180 180-pound wide out has official visits scheduled with all five schools, including a May 16 date for a trip to Tuscaloosa. Out of Santa Anna, California, Dixon-Wyatt plays his high school ball at powerhouse Mater Dei, where he caught 33 passes for 512 yards and six touchdowns during the 2023 season.
In the 2026 recruiting class, Alabama currently has five commitments highlighted by five-star cornerback Jorden Edmonds. The four other commitments are four-star athlete Zyan Gibson, four-star EDGE Jamarion Matthews, four-star defensive lineman Chris Booker, and four-star EDGE Kamhariyan Johnson.
