Jon Scheyer and the Duke Blue Devils are fresh off a Final Four season led by an incredible freshman class.
Duke courted some of the most talented freshmen in the country, such as Cooper Flagg, Khaman Maluach, Patrick Nnongba, Kon Knueppel and Isaiah Evans.
While all of them saw varied roles during their freshman season at Duke, several decided to enter their name in the 2025 NBA Draft pool.
As expected, Flagg, Knueppel, and Maluach, all starters for the Blue Devils, declared for the NBA Draft.
Ngongba announced that he would be returning for his sophomore season.
Evans also previously announced his return, but a recent update on the NBA Draft filings reveals that the former blue-chip prospect entered his name as an early candidate for the draft, per Ryan Lommen and NBA Communications.

As Lommen alluded to, Evans is likely testing the NBA Draft waters before making an official decision on whether he would like to return for his second season at Duke.
He joins 106 early entrants for the NBA Draft, including Duke teammates Cooper Flagg, Tyrese Proctor, Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach.
Evans saw a limited role in his freshman season at Duke, playing 13.7 minutes per game and starting just three of the 36 games in which he appeared in.
During his freshman season with the Duke Blue Devils, Evans averaged 6.8 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game.
Evans originally committed to Duke as a five-star prospect, ranked as the No. 4 small forward and the No. 15 overall player in the nation, per 247Sports.
