New Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan is apparently a very popular man, both inside and outside of the league.

The very first batch of returns on jersey sales from the 2025 NFL draft class are in, and McMillan currently has the fifth-best-selling jersey of the bunch. His threads sit behind only that of Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter (No. 1), Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward (No. 2), Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders (No. 3) and Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty (No. 4).

McMillan, back on Thursday night, was taken by Carolina with the eighth overall pick of this year’s selection process. The Panthers, however, weren’t the only team hoping to land the University of Arizona standout.

According to numerous reports, mainly from Dianna Russini of The Athletic and Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, at least a handful of other front offices were high on McMillan—including the Jaguars, Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams. In fact, the Rams—according to Russini—were believed to be attempting a trade-up from the 26th overall spot to nab the All-American pass catcher.

That, obviously, did not work out for Los Angeles and the rest of the field. But if the members of those organizations are still big fans of McMillan’s, then they’re certainly free to add one of those No. 4 jerseys to their wardrobes.
