There will be a watch party Monday night inside 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County War Memorial to coincide with Game 5 of the NAHL East Division semifinal series when the Johnstown Tomahawks play at the Rochester Jr. Americans.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Monday. The game will be broadcast on the scoreboard at 7 p.m. There will be free public skating and rentals from 5 to 9 p.m.
Hot dogs and sodas will cost $1, and beer drafts are $2 at the arena’s concession stand. There will be door prizes and merchandise will be on sale during the event. The Stars & Stripes Room will be open.
Johnstown extended the series to five games after beating top-seeded Rochester in double overtime Friday and overtime Saturday on home ice.
The winner of Monday’s game will play the Maine Nordiques in the East Division championship series. The victor in that series will represent the East in the Robertson Cup Playoffs semifinals set to be played in Blaine, Minnesota.
