Along with a number of players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Bucs also added at least one possible contributor after the selection show.

Per Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports, Colorado safety and son of former NFL legend Deion Sanders, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent.

But it wasn’t without drama … family drama.

Sanders, whose father and coach, Deion, has represented him as his agent his whole life, went in a different direction after watching his brother, Shedeur, free-fall in the draft.

Shedeur was thought to be a top ten pick this year, but he slid all the way to the fifth round, due to what some consider interference from his father/coach and bad interviews with teams in pre-draft meetings.

Shilo opted to have some fun with the controversy.

“Dad was our agent, but that hasn’t been working out too good,” Shilo said. “So today I had to sign with an agent, bro.”

Funny … but he really did sign with a new rep.

Shilo spent two years at South Carolina, two at Jackson State, and two at Colorado. Before signing with the Bucs, he hired famed sports agent Drew Rosenhaus. Rosenhaus already has ties to the Bucs, as he represents Deion Jones, Anthony Walker Jr., and newcomer Haason Reddick.

Shilo might have a hard time breaking into the league as a starting safety, but it is a weak spot on the roster for Todd Bowles’ defense. He could also contribute on special teams for Tampa Bay.
