The 2025 NFL draft is finally here, and teams have started bolstering their rosters with some of the nation’s best talent in college football.

It was a memorable first round on Thursday that consisted of trades galore (starting at second overall and then resurfacing in the back half of picks), some surprising picks and some notable prospects (including Shedeur Sanders and Will Johnson) falling out of Round 1.

The Chicago Bears selected Michigan tight end in Colston Loveland with the 10th overall pick, which adds a dynamic weapon for quarterback Caleb Williams in the passing game.

Heading into Day 2, the Bears have three total picks, including two of the first nine selections in the second round (Nos. 39, 41) and the eighth pick in the third round (No. 72). With some top prospects still on the board, Chicago is primed to land some impact contributors.
