The Tuesday MLB schedule features 15 games that all start at 6:10 p.m. ET or later and a full slate for MLB daily Fantasy tournaments, cash games and 50-50s means you’ll have a lot of options. Starting pitching is a critical component of any winning MLB DFS strategy and one starter that you might want exposure to is Blue Jays right Chris Bassitt. The 36-year-old has made four starts this season and is 2-0 with a 0.77 ERA and 31 strikeouts over 23 1/3 innings, but he’s priced at $9,000 on DraftKings and $10,600 on FanDuel on Tuesday, so you’ll pay a premium to add him to your MLB DFS lineups.

Meanwhile, superstars like Francisco Lindor, Bryce Harper, Corbin Carroll and Fernando Tatis Jr. are all on hot streaks entering tonight’s acton. So where can you find value plays to afford some of those big names and who are the best options overall in the MLB DFS player pool? Before locking in any MLB DFS picks for Tuesday, be sure to check out the MLB DFS advice, strategy and projections from SportsLine’s daily Fantasy expert Mike McClure.

McClure is a daily Fantasy pro who has won more than $2 million in his career. And when it comes to daily Fantasy baseball, McClure is at his best. Recognized in the book “Fantasy Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn Your Hobby into a Fortune” as a top MLB DFS player, McClure’s proprietary projection model simulates each game 10,000 times, taking factors such as matchups and recent results into account. This allows him to find the best values on every site.

On Monday (when he last made picks), McClure identified Braves third baseman Austin Riley as one of his top MLB DFS picks on both sites. The result: Riley went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored to return 23 points on DraftKings and 31.4 points on FanDuel. Anybody who included him in their lineups could have been well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, with the 2025 MLB continuing on Tuesday, McClure has locked in his top MLB daily Fantasy picks for April 22. You can head to SportsLine now to see them.

McClure’s top MLB DFS picks for Tuesday, April 22

One of McClure’s top MLB DFS picks for Tuesday is Athletics catcher Shea Langeliers at $4,200 on DraftKings and $3,300 on FanDuel for MLB DFS lineups. A first-round pick in the 2019 MLB Draft, Langeliers is an above-average receiver with towering power, and that’s what you’re looking to tap into any time you’re inserting him into your daily Fantasy baseball lineups.

After a 40-game stint in the majors where he hit six homers in 2022, Langeliers hit 22 home runs in 2023 and then upped his total to 29 in 2024. He’s already hit five home runs in 2025 and two of those longballs have come in the last five days. He’s 6-for-13 with two home runs and five RBI this season against left-handed pitching and he’ll match up with Rangers lefty Patrick Corbin tonight.

McClure is also rostering Rangers shortstop Corey Seager ($4,300 on DraftKings and $3,100 on FanDuel). Seager will turn 31 later this week but he’s already a five-time MLB all-star, a two-time World Series MVP and was also the National League Rookie of the Year in 2016. He’s hit at least 30 home runs in each of the last three seasons despite missing 93 games during that span and he’s also been top-three in MVP voting twice in his career.

With six multi-hit contests and a 1.115 OPS over his last 10 games, Seager is seeing the ball well at the moment. He’s slashing .288/.350/.479 overall for the season and has hit four home runs, though he only has six RBI thus far because the Rangers are struggling as a team and failing to provide him with run-producing opportunities. He has a .910 career OPS against right-handed pitching and will take on Athletics righty Osvaldo Bido on Tuesday. See McClure’s full MLB DFS player pool right here.
