Justin Thomas gave an emotional interview with his wife and daughter after winning the 2025 RBC Heritage on Sunday, April 20.
Thomas, 31, spoke with CBS after winning the tournament in South Carolina, where he was joined by his wife Jillian Wisniewski and their daughter Molly Grace, who was born in November 2024.
“Winning is hard. It’s really, really hard,” Thomas told CBS reporter Amanda Balionis after she noted that the last time he won a trophy, in 2022 at the PGA Championships, that Wisniewski was still his “girlfriend.”

“I’ve worked my butt off and stayed patient, stayed positive,” Thomas continued after his victory. “I got a great wife, great team and now a great daughter… who’s got her eyeballs showing right now,” he said as Molly Grace peeked her head out of the carrier.

Thomas, who is featured on Netflix’s series Full Swing, said it’s easy to “just take it for granted sometimes when you get on those runs,” during the interview. “I didn’t realize how much I miss winning,” he continued, “and battling out there today was so much fun,” Thomas said.
Wisniewski and Thomas dated for five years before getting engaged in November 2021. The couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Molly Grace, in November 2024.

They also share an adorable dog together named Franklin. The couple’s fluffy black-and-white friend makes an appearance on Thomas’ Instagram account from time to time.

Speaking to PEOPLE in March 2022, Thomas said Wisniewski makes sacrifices in her own life due to the golfer’s career. “I kind of went through [tough times] a little bit last year, where I got in a pretty bad space mentally, and it’s hard,” Thomas explained. “It’s not like something you can just flip a switch and you feel better all of a sudden.”
“I’m so fortunate that she is as patient and kind of halts her life for the lifestyle that I live. We’ve got a lot of great fond memories to look forward to down the road,” he said at the time.
