Apr. 20—Baseball Morgantown: MHS split a pair of contests on Saturday to round out the week with a 6-0 loss to Washington and an 8-4 victory over Huntington.

The Mohigans sit at 12-8 and will host Brooke on Monday evening for the OVAC semifinals.

University: UHS extended its win streak to four games with two victories on Saturday, with a 9-8 victory over Huntington and a 6-3 win over South Harrison.

The Hawks are back to.500 at 10-10 and will host Bridgeport on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.

Preston: PHS defeated Philip Barbour 12-2 on Friday to improve to 5-5 on the season and will travel to Lincoln on Monday evening.

Clay-Battelle: C-B dropped both contests to Toronto (Oh.) on Saturday to fall to 9-5 on the season. The Cee-Bees will look to bounce back as they host Lewis County on Monday.

Trinity Christian: TCS defeated Greenbrier West 7-6 on Thursday to improve to 7-8 on the season. On Thursday of this week, TCS will travel to visit Magnolia.

Softball Morgantown: MHS picked up four victories last week with the last three coming over Wheeling Park 8-1, Preston 16-1, and Washington 4-3. The Mohigans improved to 14-8 and will visit Lewis County on Monday before hosting Wheeling Park on Wednesday.

University: UHS went 3-1-1 in Myrtle Beach last week to improve to 14-3-1 overall. The Hawks had the weekend off. They will travel to Parkersburg South on Monday before hosting Buckhannon-Upshur and Preston in the middle of the week.

Girls Lacrosse University: UHS defeated John Marshall 20-0 on Thursday to improve to 11-0 on the 2025 season. The Hawks will host Canon-MacMillan on Tuesday evening on Baker’s Ridge.

Tennis Morgantown (G): MHS won two matches on Saturday with a combined game score of 13-1 over Parkersburg and Parkersburg South.

The Mohigans defeated the Big Reds 6-1 before downing the Patriots 7-0. MHS will host Wheeling Park Monday evening.
