Lazio are considering launching a summer onslaught on Udinese, as they’re reportedly interested in three of their players.
Lazio Chasing Oumar Solet
In recent months, the Biancocelesti emerged as one of the clubs interested in Oumar Solet. The 25-year-old signed for the Zebrette on a free transfer in January after rescinding his contract with RB Salzburg in September. The Frenchman swiftly established himself as a pillar at the back, and attracted the interest of Lazio and Inter Milan among others.
Jurgen Akkelenkamp
But according to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Solet isn’t the only Udinese player on Angelo Fabiani’s shortlist. The Italian capital side is also chasing Jurgen Akkelenkamp, a 25-year-old Dutchman who joined the Friulian club last summer from Royal Antwerp.
The Ajax youth product is originally a central midfielder, but he has been showcasing his versatility this season by occupying several other roles, including an attacking midfielder, a winger and even a second striker. He has thus far contributed with four goals and two assists in 30 appearances this season.
Arthur Atta
Finally, Lazio are reportedly monitoring Arthur Atta, a 22-year-old central midfielder who signed for Udinese last summer on loan from Metz with an option to buy at the end of the season. The Frenchman has made 24 in all competitions this season, but has yet to make a goal contribution, as he often operates in a deep role in the middle of the park.
