Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver A. J. Brown received a signed Julian Edelman jersey, and it’s safe to say he was excited about the gift.
Brown grew up a Patriots fan, and he recently posted a video of himself receiving a signed jersey from legendary quarterback Tom Brady.
He was hoping to get drafted by the team back in 2019, but the Patriots ended up taking N’Keal Harry at the end of the first round. That led to Brown ultimately being drafted by the Tennessee Titans. Current Patriots coach Mike Vrabel was the Titans’ head coach at the time.
Edelman was one of the best players in Patriots’ franchise history and one of the all-time great playoff performers in NFL history.
“It’s finally official. The wait is over. The wait is over, man,” Brown said in an Instagram video. “Oh, man. The GOAT Jules, man. Yes sir, man. That’s what I’m talking about, man.”

It certainly makes you wonder if Brown will ever end up with the Patriots.
The connection with Vrabel is there, and the Patriots could use another weapon at the wideout position. This might be wishful thinking, but Brown to the Patriots could be a perfect match for both sides.
