The Cincinnati Bengals have shown “extensive” interest in a local running back ahead of the 2025 NFL draft.

According to The Draft Network’s Ryan Fowler, the Bengals have been putting in notable work on Cincinnati Bearcats running back Corey Kiner.

Considering Kiner was just at the local pro day hosted by the Bengals, this one doesn’t come as much of a shock, yet it still registers as notable.

Last year, Kiner rushed for 1,153 yards and four touchdowns on a 5.7 per-carry average and he’d certainly be a target for the Bengals in the late rounds of the draft if they don’t address the position earlier in the process.

Those Bengals brought back Samaje Perine in free agency to pair with Chase Brown and still have injury questions around Zack Moss. Even without those questions, it would be easy this year to see the Bengals taking a running back as high as Round 2.
