The Georgia Bulldogs have been predicted to land a commitment from Alabama A&M transfer portal defensive lineman Sedrick Smith. Smith is a redshirt sophomore and had three seasons of eligibility remaining. The 6-foot-4, 280-pound defensive lineman is ranked as a three-star transfer, per 247Sports

Smith, who was an unranked recruit in the class of 2023, began his college football career at South Carolina State before transferring to Alabama A&M. Smith is a local product. He played high school football at South Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Georgia.

At Alabama A&M in 2024, Smith recorded 20 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss and two sacks. He figures to be part of Georgia’s defensive line rotation this fall if he signs with UGA.
