Lydia Birknes, Waynflete senior midfielder: Birknes was the Class C champion Flyers’ leading scorer last season with 47 goals and 36 assists. She’ll be a force all over the field for a team that graduated 12 but returns key players at each position.

Abby Bouffard, Biddeford senior midfielder: Bouffard is already Biddeford’s career leader in goals with 182, including 89 last year, when she earned Varsity Maine All-State honors. She combines speed, agility, and stick and shot-making skills with a willingness to play smothering defense. She has committed to Division II Southern New Hampshire University.

Paige Brewer, Yarmouth senior defender: One of three returning starters for the defending Class A champions, Brewer will be an important stabilizer in the back, helping junior goalie Molly Vickers, who replaces four-year starter Regan Sullivan.

Sydney Brunelle, Cheverus sophomore midfielder: Cheverus second-year coach Will Tuttle calls Brunelle an elite player. She is a two-way midfielder who can shoot with both hands. Brunelle scored 48 goals and had 13 assists last season. She is part of a strong sophomore group looking to improve after going 10-6 with a Class A quarterfinal loss to Yarmouth.

Lyla Casey, North Yarmouth Academy senior midfielder: NYA’s strongest two-way midfielder since her freshman season, Casey is coming off a 36-goal, 14-assist season. The Panthers will play several top Class A and B teams in order to be primed for a Class C playoff run.

Mariam DeLisle, Lincoln Academy senior midfielder: Very fast and tenacious as a defender, DeLisle has already set the program career goals record with 148 over three seasons. She plans to play in college at the University of Southern Maine.

Lana DiRusso, Freeport senior attack: A returning Varsity Maine All-State player, DiRusso scored 65 goals and had 23 assists last season. She pairs with Mia Levesque (44 goals, 24 assists) to give the Class B runner-up Falcons two four-year starters who score and play with above-average field sense.

Jane Flynn, Greely senior attack: Flynn (26 goals, 14 assists) and senior Kylie Lord (18 goals, 12 assists) are team leaders at the top of the offense for the defending Class B champs, who graduated two-thirds of their scoring and most of the defense.

Piper Forgues, Gorham senior attack: Forgues scored 26 goals and had six assists for the Rams, who went 11-5 in 2024 and expect to again be a strong team.

Camdyn Keenan, Kennebunk junior attack: Keenan totaled 34 goals and 39 assists as a sophomore and is the top returning scorer for the Rams, who again are expected to be at or near the top of the Class A standings.

Sadie Kramer, Falmouth senior defender: Kramer’s strength and tall frame help her control players 1-on-1, and her instincts allow her to be in passing lanes and create turnovers. She has committed to play for Vassar College.

Mckenna Nanartowich, Sanford senior midfield: She led the improving Spartans (8-7) with 50 draw controls and scored 22 goals last season. A leader on offense, Nanartowich is committed to play at the University of Southern Maine.

Maddy Poitras, Marshwood junior midfield: A complete player who excels at both ends, Poitras scored 50 goals to go with 27 assists and 87 draw controls in 2024. She and senior attack Sarah Theriault (44 goals, 19 assists) are two top-tier scorers.
