Rory McIlroy has a chance to win consecutive majors for the second time in his career at the 2025 PGA Championship.

McIlroy won his third and fourth major titles in 2014, capturing the Open Championship before claiming the Wanamaker for a second time. Those were his last major titles until last month, when he completed the career Grand Slam at Augusta National.

The 2025 PGA Championship is at Quail Hollow Club, normally the host of the Truist Championship, formerly known as the Wells Fargo. McIlroy has won four times at Quail Hollow, including last year. He’ll be a heavy favorite to win his second consecutive major and if he does, he’ll become the first player in a decade to do that.

Only five male golfers have won two straight major championships since 2000, and none have accomplished the feat since 2015.

Here’s a look at every golfer to win consecutive major championships since 2000.
